BAPAA offers inclusive professional training for adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The course develops performance skills through an accessible training programme with visiting directors, industry days, work experience in a local theatre, and group visits to shows and contemporary productions.

Preparing students across all aspects of the performing arts industry — including script development, set design, lighting, sound, front-of-house duties and show planning logistics — so graduates understand the industry from every angle.

INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS FROM DAY ONE

Students have the opportunity of joining our talent agency, Inclusive Talent, with a proven track record of securing auditions for feature films, TV shows, music videos and commercials. As the course concludes, students will have headshots, a showreel, a voice reel, a professional CV, and at least one professional credit.

Showcase & Productions

REAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Students experience professional work on shows and events — including at least one unique piece each year (film, stage or multi-media). This involves scriptwriting, set and props design, costume, light and sound as well as performing dance, mime, acting and singing.

Qualifications & Pathways

PROGRESS THROUGH GRADES

Throughout training, students can gain qualifications including OCR Cambridge Technical in Performing Arts and Trinity Performing Arts exams, moving through the grades as they progress. The course focuses on developing technical skills in three key areas: singing, acting and movement.

INDUSTRY ACCESS

Professional workshop days

Regular workshop days with visiting directors and theatre groups, industry days, and opportunities for work experience within a local theatre give students genuine industry exposure during training.

Every student leaves with at least one professional credit — whether that's a film, theatre production, music video or commercial work secured through the course or Inclusive Talent.

Inclusive Talent representation

Students have the opportunity of joining Inclusive Talent, Bedazzle's own talent agency, which has a proven track record of securing auditions for feature films, TV shows, music videos and commercials. Clients have secured paid professional work at the National Theatre, on theatre tours, TV series, film, radio, voice overs and photographic campaigns.

PICADILLY LIGHTS, LONDON

Current student Angus was spotted on the Piccadilly Lights in London for his role in "Typical?" — visible to millions of people in one of the UK's most prominent advertising spaces.

FILM & THEATRE

Current student Ben has just premiered in "One for The Road" — straight after completing his theatre run for "Murder Trial Tonight". Professional screen and stage work, simultaneously.

Bedazzle Inclusive Productions (BiP)

FILM & THEATRE WORK EXPERIENCE

BiP produces innovative film and theatre projects that forefront authentic representation — committed to a minimum of 50% representation of people who identify as d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent. BAPAA students gain real work experience through BiP productions.

ROUTES TO PAID PROFESSIONAL WORK

Professionally representing actors over the age of 18, Inclusive Talent is passionate about recognising the interconnection of society and making sure talented performers are representative of the diverse world we live in.
