Foundation Annual Showcase

Each year the Foundation students work on an end of year performance, showcasing an incredible combination of acting, dancing and musicianship skills at a professional venue in Cambridge.

Devising, costume design and staging are all focused on as part of the rehearsal process, before the cast undertake professional tech and dress rehearsals, followed by a live performance and a tour around local schools in the subsequent weeks.

2024 - Mythic Trials

Our 2024 production is based on Greek mythology, exploring it in a contemporary way through expressive movement and original writing.

We are thrilled to announce that this year's showcase is in partnership with the Cambridge Arts Theatre, with our cast performing in their fabulous auditorium on Thursday 4th July 2024.

2023 - Tales Untold

For our 2023 production, Bedazzle's Foundation Course students created an original performance inspired by the tales of the Brother's Grimm.

In July 2023 the Foundation group took their show “Tales Untold” to The Junction in Cambridge for a spectacular showcase that demonstrated an array of theatre skills.
